Discover the Joy of Movement and the Power of Your Brain
Why just sit and learn about brain health when you can experience it? Join RSS for an afternoon that blends science, creativity, and movement in a way that’s fun, engaging, and accessible to everyone.
We’ll be joined by Magda Kaczmarska, founder of DanceStream Projects, and dancer/choreographer Hilary Brown-Istrefi, who will guide us through the fascinating connection between dance and brain health. Together, we’ll explore how movement makes us stronger, more adaptive, and more connected to the world around us.
You’ll not only learn some of the science behind the power of dance—you’ll also try out simple activities that sharpen the mind, spark joy, and build resilience.
This event is part of a yearlong initiative to strengthen community ties in Riverdale by bringing together dance, brain health, and belonging.
We warmly invite YOU to take part in this uplifting experience, as we explore how movement can connect us more deeply to our own brain health—and to one another.
