Dr. Cowart will discuss how diabetes can affect your feet. What are some of the \potential problems that can affect your foot health. The current guidelines for when to see your podiatrist/foot doctor for checkups, and preventive measures that you can take to help protect your feet.

Dr. Cowart has 14 years of clinical and surgical experience. She manages the clinical operations of the podiatry program at Bellevue Hospital, HHC. She is board certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, and is a member of the American Diabetic Association.
