The History of Beer: NY HIstorical Society Screening

Tuesday, January 12, 2021
4:30 pm5:30 pm

We have all loved the curator lectures from the NY Historical Society. Explore the fascinating legacy of beer brewing in New York City with Debra Schmidt Bach, Ph.D., curator of decorative arts at New-York Historical Society. Dive into the social, economic, political, and technological history of the production and consumption of beer, ale, and porters in the city from the 17th century to the present. RSS will be showing this video (which is also available on youtube).

NOTE: This event will not be led by a curator but we will have a general discussion after the screening. Tell us your thoughts about beer!
