 hris Bravo and I am a documentary filmmaker. I am also a caregiver to my M
 other\, who lives with dementia.\n\nPeople with dementia are marginalized 
 and excluded from our culture. This is unacceptable. How do we counter the
  stigma of dementia? The most powerful tool we have is the voices of peopl
 e with dementia themselves. We can achieve so much by listening to and bui
 lding a dialog around the thoughts and experiences of the people who are m
 ost directly impacted by this disease.
